Art Camp
Week One: All About Animals
Kids will explore animals from around the globe, learning about their unique traits and habitats. They’ll create exciting art projects inspired by these creatures using a variety of techniques and materials such as drawing, painting, collage, and more. This week is perfect for young artists who love animals and creativity!
Week Two: Ocean Explorers
Get ready to discover the wonders of the ocean! We'll learn about fascinating sea creatures and underwater worlds while creating art inspired by life beneath the waves. Using materials like drawing supplies, paint, collage, and pastels, kids will have the chance to express their ideas in unique and colorful ways.
Week Three: Just Desserts
This week is all about desserts and sweet treats! Kids will create art inspired by cupcakes, ice cream, donuts, and more. Using materials like drawing supplies, paint, collage, and pastels, they'll explore fun and colorful ways to bring their favorite sweets to life on paper.
Week Four: Video Games
This week, we’ll turn video game worlds and characters into amazing works of art! Kids will draw inspiration from their favorite games to create unique projects using materials like drawing supplies, paint, collage, and pastels. It’s the perfect mix of gaming fun and artistic expression!
Week Five: Clay Creations
This week, kids will dive into the world of sculpting using air-dry clay and Model Magic. They’ll learn techniques to shape, mold, and design their own unique creations, from fun figurines to imaginative sculptures. Once their pieces are complete, kids will paint them, exploring color theory to bring their creations to life with vibrant designs. It’s a week full of hands-on creativity and artistic expression!
Week Six: Acrylic Painting
This week, campers will focus on acrylic painting, spending a few days on each artwork to develop their skills and techniques. They’ll learn how to layer paint to create depth and texture, exploring subjects such as still life, landscapes, or even a theme of their own choosing. By taking their time, they’ll discover the process of building a painting step-by-step and create finished pieces they’ll be proud to show off.
Week Seven: Prehistoric Times
Travel back in time to the age of dinosaurs, mammoths, and ancient creatures! Campers will create art inspired by prehistoric times using materials like drawing supplies, paint, collage, and pastels. From towering dinosaurs to volcanic landscapes, kids will bring the past to life through their creativity.
